Salesman is a free online text-based economic simulator that can be used for fun or educational purposes. In Salesman, you start out with little money and sell vehicals to the citizens of North and Central America. There are interactive cities that you can interact with. You can even estabilish a business and sell vehicals at a higher rate. You can then advirtise you business, build stores to accommendate your business, buy land in real-life districts to put your store on, build websites for your business. There's also a banking system that lets you earn 0.5% interest every day, lets you take out loans of up to $100,000, and lets you withdraw/deposit money. Each player has strength. The max strength is 100, and you can no longer gain strength after you reach 100 strength. You use strength by doing actions like creating a business, hiring employees, making a website, buying a car, selling a car, withdrawing or depositing into the bank, traveling to other cities, etc. You buy a car either online via one of the car selling websites, you can go to a MaxCar dealership and buy a used car or sell one of your cars to them, or you can go to a dealership like Ronda or Toyata and buy a brand new car. You can sell cars via your website, your stores, or by going to a MaxCar dealership. You can travel to different places either by driving in your personal car or by flying. By flying you use less strength and get there faster, but it's usually more expensive. If you are going to another country, you need to purchase a passport. Passports expire after one year. Salesman is Real Time, which means nothing is sped up. If you need to drive to dallas from Houston, you have to wait 4 and a half real hours before you reach Dallas. You can have cars transported to your other stores so you can better manage inventory. This can be acomplished 2 ways: You or one of your employees drives the car to the new store, or a plane transports it to the new store.
